Palm Sunday Parade
The annual community Palm Sunday Parade will be held on Sunday morning, April 17th, 9:30 a.m. at Hopkins Green.The members of all the downtown churches are invited to gather for a prayer and Bible reading, and then walk through the streets of Lexington ―dropping off the participants as the parade goes by the different churches. Renowned biblical scholar Marcus Borg will be in Lexington on March 25 and 26. On Sunday March 25 he will preach at the 11:00 a.m. service at Lexington Presbyterian. He will then provide two lectures, one at 4:00 p.m. and the other 7:00p.m. The community is encouraged to attend this free event. Monday evening March 26 at 7:30 p.m. he will speak at Lee Chapel.
